We live and work in a time where one generation discovered, developed and implemented technological advances that other generations have lived with their entire lives. Successfully leading or working in an organization with five generations – all with different experiences and perspectives – can be a challenge. And COVID-19 has made this even more challenging with the surge in remote work and reliance on technology.

This panel discussion will share research on generational and life-stage differences that need to be understood and leveraged to bring out the best in every professional at every level of career, and in the context of COVID-19.

Participants will leave the session with ideas they can use to manage intergenerational conflict and be inspired to make the most of their own generational differences with colleagues or rally their workforce around a shared purpose.

Angela Crawford, PhD, Vice President for Digital, Graduate and Professional Programs - Thomas More University

Dr. Angela Crawford enjoys helping people and organizations grow. She has spent over 25 years in leadership across areas, such as marketing, research, operations, consulting, and sales. In her work, she is focused on designing workplaces that result in employee and organizational growth. As Dean of the College of Business at Thomas More University, she enjoys teaching MBA and undergraduate students Strategic Management and Innovation; while also maintaining her consulting and executive coaching clients where she helps organizations and people become the best version of themselves. Dr. Crawford earned her BBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Cincinnati, MBA from Cleveland State University, and PhD from Case Western Reserve University. She lives in Northern Kentucky with her family, where she also serves as a hospice volunteer and church board member.

Kelley Downing, President & CEO, Wealth Advisor, Principal - Bartlett Wealth Management

Kelley Downing has been with Bartlett Wealth Management for more than 23 years. She is a guiding force for her clients, the firm and the community. In her role as a wealth advisor, Kelley blends her keen understanding of the industry with her sincere interest in the clients she serves. Her strong listening skills and strategic thinking enable clients to clarify and articulate their goals.

As the first female to serve as President and CEO of Bartlett, Kelley spearheads innovative efforts, including significant advances in technology, a paperless environment, an online client document portal, virtual desktops and Bartlett’s own cloud. Under her leadership, the firm has expanded to provide Wealth Management services – a culmination of Financial Planning with Investment Management. Her expertise has been the oversight for development of new Bartlett Fund Advantage (BFA) strategies for institutional and private clients. She formed a mentoring group of younger Bartlett employees to better prepare them as future leaders of the firm and the community.

Under Kelley’s leadership, Bartlett has earned more than a dozen recognitions on a national platform, most recently ranked by Bloomberg as #2 in the nation as a Registered Investment Advisory firm that also provides financial planning.

Holly Mazzocca, Wealth Advisor, Principal - Bartlett Wealth Management

Holly H. Mazzocca, CFP^® is a Wealth Advisor and Principal at Bartlett Wealth Management. She provides investment management and financial planning services to high net worth individuals and their families, foundations, endowments and non-profit institutions. Holly received her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in Finance and International Business and received her MBA at Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. She is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP^®).

Before joining Bartlett, Holly served as Vice President, Business Development & Investor Relations for a private investment management firm based in Chicago. Holly supported the management of the firm’s investor relations and marketing activities for client relationships totaling over $2 billion in assets under management.

Holly joined Bartlett Wealth Management in 2015 when she returned home to Cincinnati. She is an active board member of the Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home (DCCH) Center for Children and Families and the Chair of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Women’s Initiative Regional Summit. She was awarded Legacy’s 2018 Leadership Northern Kentucky Award in the “Business & Finance” category. In 2019, Holly was awarded the Outstanding Women of Northern Kentucky Emerging Leader Award. She has been listed as a Five Star Professional for 2 years. Holly has 12 years of investment experience.
