Northern Kentucky has a smoking problem. While nationally 14% of adults smoke cigarettes, 23% of NKY adults smoke and a startling 38% of Covington adults alone are lighting up. These surprising statistics do not even reflect the newest epidemic facing the youth of our region and our nation: e-cigarettes. Smoking costs Kentucky businesses nearly $2.8 billion every year in lost productivity.

Join the NKY Chamber on Monday, November 25^th for a timely discussion with the experts tackling these issues and the proposed 2020 legislation before the Kentucky General Assembly that could help. The discussion will be moderated by Garren Colvin, President and CEO of St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Providing expert insight into this issue are Chair Kim Moser, Kentucky Health and Family Services Committee, Ben Chandler, President and CEO for the Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky and Stephanie Vogel, Director of Population Health with the NKY Health Department. .
