Join NKYP for quarterly volunteer opportunities in our community!

Northern Kentucky Young Professionals (NKYP) and Housing Opportunities of NKY (HONK) have partnered on a volunteer event to give some time and energy back to underserved communities. Volunteers will help by painting, doing some light carpentry, and yard work. Don't miss this opportunity to give back to the community and support a local non-profit organization!

Whether you are actively engaged with NKYP or a YP in the region looking for new ways to connect with your peers, we invite you to join us for an enriching opportunity to give back and volunteer some time with HONK. The day will consist of painting, light carpentry, and yard work.

This event will be followed by a happy hour where you can continue to network with other NKYP's and rally around the hard work you all put in for our community!

*Notable instructions include: close-toe shoes are a must, all tools will be provided, water is provided but bringing your own is welcomed, and lastly dress for the weather!

Event Projects include:

Clean out basement (nothing bad, just some construction debris)
Mix and pour concrete in basement where floor was removed.
Trim bushes, remove brush from backyard.
Paint rear deck and handrails (replace a few boards as needed)
Begin hanging drywall in bathroom and kitchen.
