The World Affairs Council of Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky has been selected by the US State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Program to host a delegation from several different countries including Albania, Serbia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Belgium, Greece, Latvia, Slovenia, Spain, and Switzerland.

This international delegation is here to provide broad exposure to current US social, political, and economic issues, examine and learn about foreign and domestic policy, and explore the role of diversity, the individual, and region in the US.

It would be beneficial for this delegation to meet with members of the Northern Kentucky International Trade Association to discuss the global economic landscape as well as the role of the US and Latin America in the current and future global economic order. The delegates are interested in learning how the NKY Chamber and NKITA aims to enhance economic opportunities for business members that are involved/ or want to be involved in international trade, as well as the Issues and Resources Committee which addresses community issues such as immigration and supports the Trade Promotion Authority and Free Trade Agreements.
